FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing a video depends on a few things, mainly the creative concept. Our pricing ranges from about $400 for a simple video to $5000 for high-concept videos (that involve a lot of assets). It usually take about 5 weeks to deliver your video. We do try to get it to you a lot sooner than that though, if we can. What do you get for your dollars? Good question. We act as a creative agency and a production facility in one, so we almost always write the videos we make. We love that we can be a part of the whole process from beginning to end. We shape the concept and put all the finishing touches on, including the editing, visual effects, music and everything. When we quote you an price, that amount is all-inclusive. We do take a deposit to get going, so were not out-of-pocket for the shoot. Then we go into post-production, and then the rest is due when we deliver. Standard stuff. Why do our videos cost more money than you were expecting (or less, or exactly the same as)? Its easy to assume that making good videos is easier than it looks. But in fact, it takes a great deal of skill, taste, and labor to do things well. So you can rest assured that not only do we tend to achieve high production values on tight budgets, the right amount of your money will end up on screen, where its supposed to be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, lets talk. Tell us a bit more about what youre working on. No need for a lot of detail, just some words about your thing. Then, well send you a short treatment, outlining a video concept we come up with that we think would be great for you. This treatment would also include the estimated timeline and the pricing. If you like the treatment and pricing as is, we'll just move forward from there or we can go back and tweak the concept higher or lower. Then, well send an invoice for the video. A 50% deposit would be due before starting production. Once the deposit is paid, well begin production. Once were finished, we'll send you a watermarked version of the video for your approval. Once you pay the remaining balance, we'll send you the un-watermaked, finished video.
