She has been featured in magazines like Charleston Weddings Magazine, The Knot and Destination Weddings. In 2010 she won the highly coveted Best Of the Knot for South Carolina for her excellence in Wedding Photography. We had a new baby in June, so this year, we really wanted to make an effort to get new family portraits done. We didn't want to do anything in a "portrait-style" setting though, so I reached out to Liz and explained that we wanted to do something outdoors and "woodsy," and she immediately came up with the perfect location. Our shoot lasted about an hour and a half, although it seemed like five minutes because we were having so much fun! We received our pictures back very quickly and they were absolutely AMAZING. My husband and I have always been huge fans of Liz and her photography, but it was really neat to see my three-year-old (who had never met Liz before) instantly bond with her. She got great smiles from both kids as well as some really awesome candid shots. Besides being incredibly talented, Liz has such a fun personality, the patience of a saint and always makes everyone feel so comfortable. She's very professional and orchestrates everything; you just have to follow her direction. I would certainly recommend her (and her photography) to anyone! Our pictures were perfect.

My husband and I met Liz almost 9 years ago when we asked her to photograph our wedding. Fast forward a few years and Liz has photographed my first pregnancy and when we welcomed our second child last November. As long as Liz is taking pictures, we will be life long clients. Her work is amazing and her eye for capturing those special moments in time is incredible!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have fixed packages that one can choose from for weddings but I prefer to customize these to my couples, since EVERY wedding is different! Just let me know what you are dreaming of for that special day. Family portrait sessions are $300 for an hour AND all the edited images!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am NOT a poser! I like to find the prettiest locations and let your own personality shine through. I will give you simple directions so you can feel at ease with how you are positioned and then I let your be YOURSELF.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my training working as an assistant for photographers at Charleston Magazine in 1999. I got to experience all levels of commercial photography which gives me the eye for detail that I have today! I enjoy shooting people and not offices and homes, so I quickly switched to shooting weddings on the side and in 2004 I ventured out on my own!
