Hasn't finished the job yet but I'm very satisfied with the contractor and his crew. Prices for the various parts of the job are reasonable and the parts already finished exceeded my expectations. I'd recommend the Sellars team! Siding job now completed. All repairs, paint, caulk and shutter installation makes our house look new! We added several more jobs:a bathroom remodel (removed vanity, sink and toilet. Replaced subfloor. tiled floor. Installed new sink and toilet. Beautiful!). Rejuvenated interior stairwell (removed "popcorn" ceiling, repainted, installed new light fixture.) Looks good! Foundation stuccoed and painted. Repaired wood fence panels, replaced several 4 x 4" posts, and rebuilt entry gate. Nice. Our house is ready to put on the market to sell!!! Very, very satisfied with Mr Sellar's and crew! I'd hire 'em again!

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. Alford will tell you how honest he is, how his handshake is his word and how he'll get your job done quickly. These things are not true in my experience. First of all Alford has another full time job, so don't expect to see him too often. In my opinion he treats his sub contractors very poorly. He had 2 of them quit on him. One of them is trying to put a lien on my house because he says Alford didn't pay him what he owed him. He'll try to send his 17 year old son and foster kids to do the work when his sub contractors don't show up. In my own stupidity I actually gave Alford a $1500 advance that he said was for one of his sub contractors. The sub needed money to get by and continue the job. The sub was supposed to be pawning his boat to Alford but he never did and Alford cashed the check anyway. It was at the point I asked for the $1500 back that Alford packed up his tools and left. He has not responded to a text or answered a phone call since. My job remains unfinished. Do not hire Alford unless you want a construction nightmare.

Three different times I scheduled him for a cleaning project and all three times he was a no-show. I really thought he would be my "go to man" after speaking with him, but after not responding to my texts or phone calls, I'm very disappointed.
