FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work pricing in two different ways. Hourly or Piece rate. Hourly rate varies from $40-$70 hr depending on scope of job. Piece rate varies on cost of materials and length of job at fair market value. Pricing is always negotiable. 10% discount for military and elderly. Refer my business to a friend who uses my services and receive a 10% discount on your next job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer reaches out to me for my services I start off by attaining all their information and a brief description of the scope of work/job. I awnser any questions they may have and then discuss a time to meet for the Bid/Proposal process. It is then that we will discuss the aspect of the job, ideas, timeline, estimated cost, start date and anything else that needs to be discussed. Since I always try to offer a fair best price on jobs I usually don't give final price on the proposal process unless it's a smaller or hourly job. I typically return the final price bid anywhere from next day to 3 days later. This gives me time to research/find the best deals on materials and market costs to ensure the lowest fair price for the customer. If final price is agreed upon then the next step is to setup a start date. Day of job we sign paperwork and go over last minute details or questions and work begins....
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned my skills from some of the best in the Valley....in my opinion. Made it a point to form relationships with many of the old timers that are considered master Craftsman. Both in workmanship and customer service. I hold a HVAC liscense, EPA refridgeration liscene, OSHA/Hazmat 72 hr certification, and have attended small business/customer service classes.
