- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer and I will have a thorough discussion about the project at hand in order to define expectations. I will need to know what the project entails, when the customer would like the project completed, and any other relevant information that would be crucial to the success of my work. We will then agree upon a quote or fixed price, and work may commence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
SPANISH TRANSLATION: I have fluency in the language, and have the ability to translate from Spanish to English and vice versa. I lived and worked in Spain for two years, before which I spent years studying the language, receiving a Spanish Language minor from my university alongside an International Studies degree. This included a study abroad immersion program in Spain as well. TRANSCRIPTION: This is something I have done on and off over the years, and seemed a fitting addition to my translation services. A high WPM typing speed, perceptive ear, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of grammar are all skills I possess to make me an effective transcriptionist. EDITING: As a former English teacher, I am a keen editor, and have eyes for all conventional errors. I can also offer suggestions if the client so desires.
