Introduction: My name is Tamra Hicks and I am a Freelance Makeup Artist. I grew up in Clarksville, TN and have been living here in Nashville, TN for about four years now. I started doing makeup for family and friends over about 5 years ago. The art of makeup has now become my new passion and I love it!
My concept for Embody Beauty came from my very own daily struggles to represent beauty in my own unique way, fearlessly and freely. After letting go of the mental barrier of being concerned about what other people think; I realized there is no right or wrong way to embody beauty.
Whenever, whatever and however you choose to embody beauty, do it unapologetically!
I love people's reaction after I'm done with a makeup application. For me, that's the real moment of truth!

Embody Beauty was able to get me booked in a very short time for my birthday! Tammy was my makeup artist and I described to her what I was looking for and she gave me just that and much more. She arrived on time ready to work and I felt absolutely beautiful once she was complete! I will definitely be booking her again for my next big event.

Tamra did a wonderful job with my makeup. She was timely, attentive, professional, had colors that matched my complexion, and just did an overall great job. This look was for a ball. I wanted something glam, but not too heavy. I'm super particular, and she was able to exceed my expectations. I would definitely recommend her service!
