Introduction: I am a doctoral candidate at Tulane University, completing my PhD in Spanish with a dissertation on contemporary Latin American literature.
I offer translation (Spanish to English) and Spanish lessons, as well as all types of editing.
I have several years of experience in teaching Spanish at the college level in addition to the editing and translation work my PhD has required.
I enjoy the problem solving of editing, translating, and teaching Spanish.
Language used at any level is like a puzzle to be solved. How do we take the pieces we have to make meaning and be understood?
I especially take pleasure in teaching grammar, as I have learned several languages (beyond Spanish) myself and can help my students approach the structure of language from many angles.
