FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I send you a photography quote, it includes the time spent photographing, processing, and getting the photos to you online (either via Dropbox, Google Drive, Flickr, or your choice). If you want a flash drive with the files of the photos, you can give that to me in person when I come to take the pictures, and I can send it to you in the mail. If you want a physical album or prints, we can discuss the further cost of that. I'm open to working with each individual customer to fit their needs and make the process as seamless, affordable and enjoyable as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have a phone conversation in the beginning to go over their vision and logistics.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I was living in D.C. and working at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars (where I took photos at conferences and speeches), I took a winter photography class at the Smithsonian. We had professional training in both taking and processing photos through Adobe software. Though I don't have a degree in photography, I'm fortunate enough to have worked alongside many professionals through my network in D.C. and working at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
