My husband and I are not big wine enthusiasts, but we enjoy a little vino now and then. We have a little Monogram Wine Reserve in our rec room bar. It has always worked very beautifully since we bought it. The other day I just happened to be in the rec room working out when I noticed the Monogram Wine Reserve was making an annoying noise that sounded like something was wrong with the fan. I did not want to shut it down because it was full of wine, but at the same time. I know enough about refrigerators or wine coolers to know that if the compressor fan goes out the compressor will over heat. To err on the side of caution I shut the unit down, luckily our basement stays pretty cool this time of year, and I have separate controls for my climate control for each floor of the house. So I just set the basement for pretty cool, and went upstairs to call somebody. I grabbed my handy IPhone and started calling appliance repair companies. I called 3 different companies before I found Appliance Repair New York. The other companies tried to schedule an appointment a week and a half to two weeks out. I really did not want to wait that long. Then I got Appliance Repair New York on the line, and they had a technician at my house 3 days later. For New York City that is pretty amazing. The Technician Javier told me that it was really lucky that I was there when to hear the noise, and that I acted fast to shut down the system. He said that the fan had gone bad, and if the system would have been left on. I would have burned out my unit, and then it would have been big bucks. Javier fixed fan with parts he brought with him, and I am happy to say I do not believe any of my wine suffered greatly for the incident. Thank goodness Appliance Repair New York got me an appointment so fast. My Wine reserve is working beautifully again. I would recommend this company to my friends. I will definitely be calling them next time I need an appliance fixed.

We have had our Amana Glass 30 inch Glass Induction Cooktop for some time now, and I like the way it works, when it works, but we have had to fix it several times since we purchased it. A couple of months ago I was cooking dinner when the left side of the cook top just cracked in 5 pieces. There was a loud cracking sound and I went it tom check on things and the left side burners were cracked and they had shut down. I could not believe it. We tries to call Amana’s warranty department, but they had us on hold forever, just to tell us that the glass top was no longer covered by our warranty, because we have had the cooktop for too long. So we called our old friends at Appliance Repair New York, and we set up an appointment for the weekend when we would both be home. The technician Vince showed up right when he was supposed to. And after taking a look at the unit he told us we would have to replace the entire glass top. When he gave me the estimate it seemed like a lot to spend fixing a cooktop that just blew up on me. I told him my concerns and he agreed with me. He said that I could get a much better Cooktop for just a little bit more than fixing our old cooktop would cost. So he gave me the number to his Uncle who sells appliances. Before you know it we had a brand new Thermador Cooktop and we are so happy. We had Vince come over to have him install the new cooktop, and to thank him for being honest and steering us in the right direction, even though he lost money, by not fixing our old cooktop. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the pride and joy of my kitchen appliances is my Wolf Achiever Natural Gas 36" 6 Burner Countertop Range. I acquired it a few years ago. I got a really good deal on it, and I use it all the time. So when one of the burners quit working I called Appliance Repair New York immediately and set up an appointment. They had a repair tech at our house in under 24 hours. He took a look at the unit, and told me one of the sparkers had burnt out, and he just happened to have one on the truck with him. He had read the notes that the operator took when she set up the appointment. So he brought a sparker with him just in case. He replaced the faulty part and had my Wolf Range working in less than 20 minutes. I was amazed by the service, and even more amazed by the price. What a great company, fast, reliable, and affordable. What more could anybody ask for. I recommend this company to anybody in need of appliance repair in the New York area.

We have a Maytag 30" Electric Wall Convection Oven. It has been a pretty good oven so far. I have been very satisfied with it performance until a couple months ago when I put a chicken in the oven, and an hour later it was burned to a crisp. I checked the settings and that should not have happened. So I called up Appliance Repair New York and set up an appointment. The technician Stanley was a nice guy. He showed up on time and he really seemed to know his stuff. He examined out Oven and discovered that the thermostat needed replaced. He had brought one with him, and before you know it. The oven was working fine. The whole visit cost less than a nice dinner out, so no complaints there. That is what I like about Appliance repair New York, there are no surprises. Their technicians are honest and hardworking, and they never try to tack on extra work to pad the bill. I would recommend them to anybody in need of appliance repair in the New York area.

I have a LG 6.3 cu. ft. Gas Slide-in Range ProBake Convection Oven with the Easy Clean feature. It is a very nice oven. I use it all the time, and I have used the Easy clean feature several times. One day last fall I tried to clean my oven and the Easy Clean feature malfunctioned. It ramped up to 500 degrees and was not shutting off when it should, so I had to throw the breaker to shut it down. After that I called up Appliance Repair New York and scheduled an appointment to have a technician look at it. They sent out a technician named Larry. He seemed very nice and he really seemed to know what he was talking about. He examined the oven and said that my control board had malfunctioned and would need replaced. He gave me an estimate and it seemed very reasonable. I had him order the parts and 2 days later he called me up and we set a time when he could come over and replace the control board. After he was finished my Oven was working great again. I am so happy to have my oven back. Thank Larry and the good folks over at Appliance Repair New York.
