Ms. Ortiz is extraordinary; her insight and knowledge of the acting and entertainment industry are invaluable. She is generous, nurturing, profoundly perceptive, and very creative in her approach. Breaking into the industry is hard for any aspiring actor. It is tenfold harder for disabled actors. Liz has never tempered my goals. If anything, she pushes me further. She doesn't believe that, because of the way I walk, I have to accept being a character actor. She chooses scenes geared specifically to show casting directors, agents, and producers that I can be a leading man. She offers more than support. Her criticism may be tough, but it is always constructive and well-intentioned. She expects a lot from me because the industry expects a lot from actors. She expects me to be on time because the industry expects actors to be on set on time. She expects to see rehearsed monologues and scene work because the industry expects actors to walk on set ready to perform, not to work, the scene. Under her coaching, I got representation. I have been asked to audition for professional theater companies like the Manhattan Theater Company. I also have landed roles in two short films and an off-off broadway production. 2018 looks ever brighter. If you have the chance to work with Casting Solutions Casting, do it. You will walk away from the experience knowing what to expect from the industry and, more importantly, knowing to how to land work as a professional actor.

One of the things we strive for most, as actors, is being able to get consistent positive feedback from casting directors. I just started taking classes with Liz and I am glad I found her! She has a vast knowledge of the industry and a unique and efficient teaching style. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As an introductory special I am offering a 30 minute (online only) sessions for $45.00 On line sessions are $80.00 per hour In person sessions are $125.00 per hour All sessions must be scheduled and prepaid in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tailor my process to the skill level, personal & Professional needs of each client. I have taught from ages 3 to 85 so I am very adaptable of adjusting my teaching style accordingly. I will gently challenge you to grow & reveal your potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Theatre Arts from Fordham University. I’ve been working in Casting/producing & as an instructor/coach for over 25 years. I work on award winning & critically acclaimed projects. I’ve written a book , Ace Your Acting Audition which is in its 2nd edition & sold at the prestigious Drama Book Shop in NYC & Amazon. My industry experience & instincts for knowing how to communicate with all kinds of people are what make me an excellent teacher with a strong following.
