- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is less than half the cost of 1 hour of therapy and in that hour you will receive immediate results that are lasting. An initial session will set the tone for a lifelong practice. Of course, I offer a program of sessions until you feel you're well on your way. I stay with you until you feel confident, lifted and mobilized to live your most fulfilling life.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with one 1-hour therapeutic session where we determine the dominant stressors, anxieties and goals for the practice. Then we meet at least weekly for 30-60 minute sessions for at least 12 sessions. I believe the work will help in this period, though the best results are obtained over time. This is client specific and tailored to meet individual needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years experience teaching yoga in some of the finest institutions, businesses and non-profit organizations predominately in the Pacific Northwest. In addition, I am certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) of Jon Kabat-Zinn; a specific form of mindfulness meditation. Currently, I am part of an exclusive cohort for Access Mindfulness bringing mindfulness to schools (NYPS). Weekly practice at the Vedanta Society of New York and a daily personal practice continue to inform my teachings in a fresh, strong and current manner.
