Chef Phil is as good as it gets. Not only is he extraordinarily knowledgeable, but he listens and takes the time to get to know who he is cooking for. He is excellent under pressure (I have witnessed him cook for 4 and 200), patient, efficient, extremely charismatic and personable, and most importantly, his food is delicious!
He has extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, but has studied and is well versed in the many others (Mexican, Spanish, American, etc.), including classic French cuisine and technique. Chef Phil also has relationships that allow him to procure some of the finest meat, produce, cheese, etc. An extra bonus - he knows wine!
I would recommend Chef Phil in any culinary situation - large or small, formal or informal.
