FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You will find my pricing reasonable and discounts are given to regular clients. Pricing is customized based on length of care giving, number of animals (if more than two) and distance. Average in Jessamine County starts at $25 a day for 3-30 minute visits for up to 3 furbabies. Overnight stay is $25. Day plus overnight is $40. Referrals (be sure they mention your name) that book services will also provide a discount on the next visit for the established client who personally referred the new client! You won't find a sitter that will love and care for your 'babies' more than I will especially at a reasonable price🐾💕🐾
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After talking with the prospective client I make an appointment to go 'meet' the babies prior to booking the reservation. I want the 'babies' to have met me and are comfortable with me before caring for them! If the family is away the 'babies' don't need an unknown person coming in on them. I also ask for a list of numbers for the 'babies' vet and a family member or friend's contact number that lives fairly close if there should be an emergency. I usually take a picture of the 'babies' while their family is gone to send to the family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not currently have formal training. However I grew up on a farm and have had many varieties of pets and rescue animals. I do not 'purchase' animals but rather give abandoned animals a better life and love to the moon and back. I have worked with horses, goats, rabbits, squirrels, chickens and of course dogs and cats.
