Edward Taylor (ET) came to fix a leaking kitchen faucet Saturday. It took him two hours to find the valve to turn off the water supply. In the process he turned on and off some other valves and created two other leaks on the water line. He also changed the original leaking kitchen faucet which continued to leak after he left . The kitchen faucet leak and the two leaks that Edward Taylor created dripped all of Saturday night and all of Sunday. Cost:$250.
I called 2nd plumber on Monday . The 2nd plumber tightened the valve on one of the two leaks that ET had created and soldered a new valve on the other leaking valve.
2nd plumber checked out the kitchen faucet that ET had put in and found it still leaking. 2nd plumber had to solder the new faucet on to the water line. Cost $550. Total cost $800.
