Introduction: I have been interested in animal behavior since I was 3 years old.
I have 8 years of college experience with three degrees, studying Human and Animal behavior. I take on the dogs other trainers won't, and I do it all with patience and calm.
Using AKC, lure- and reward-based training methods, there is no dog that I can't train.

Thomas is an awesome dog trainer. I know that dog training isn't really 100% about the dog , it about teaching humans what dogs can do with enough attention and care. He is very direct and clear with his objectives for each class. He also has a lot of experience and wisdom that he loves to share with his students. His constructive criticism is so awesome. He doesn't just tell you not it do something but how to do it differently and better for your dog to understand. His knowledge of the dog is amazing. I was feeding my dog really cheep food and she was constantly sick and acting out. He showed me what dog food to get and WHY. He always backs up everything he says with facts, statistics and his personal life experiences. Outside of class we met up at the dog park a few times, so I could show him what I can do with my dog.

Thomas has an amazing way of communicating not only with the dog, but with the owners on a level that I haven't seen in any trainer before! His wealth of knowledge with human and animal chemistry makes training a dog more interactive and effective than traditional methods. I give him 5 stars because of his patience, commitment, and drive to help people solve their problems with their animals!

In the past 15 years we have used several dog trainers and Thomas is by far the most knowledgable in terms of understanding dog psychology. He takes a training approach much like the parenting approach that I take with my children. The dogs are able to understand what you want from them without the need to be domineering or requiring any type of negative reinforcement. He has been able to answer and address all of my questions/issues and explain a solution in a very concise and pragmatic way!

Charge of training our new puppy LEO he was 4 months old. We were very impressed with Thomas and his connection with not only our puppy but and dog that he was around. We will not hesitate to sign him up for our 2nd training class very soon!

Thanks to Thomas we are now empowered with the knowledge to better communicate with our puppy. He showed a lot of improvement in just a few weeks, and we now know how to be leaders instead of owners :)
