- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standardized pricing because I accept insurance. Time of service payment discounts of up to 25% do apply to patients paying out of pocket for services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At a new patient's first visit, I spend ample time getting to know about the concern that brought him or her into the office in addition to their complete health history. I typically spend over an hour getting to know my patients before we come up with a customized treatment plan. After we finish the intake, approximately an hour is spent getting Acupuncture, which may also include massage, cupping, guasha, or moxibustion heat therapy. At the end of the first visit, patients are sent home with an information packet to read at their leisure.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine in Clinical Laboratory Science. I also have a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
