Introduction: My name is Erica Pehrson. I'm a mezzo-soprano who graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho with a Bachelor of Music, emphasis in Vocal Performance. I am a performer, and that sets me apart. If you are looking to gain confidence and learn how to demand presence on a stage, I'm a great fit for you. I love to see my students shine! If students are interested, I like to teach basic music theory as well as sight signing to improve their foundation. A solid foundation is the most important part of a great singer! I love the drama of music. It is an escape from reality; the ability to step into someone else's shoes for a moment. I love having an instrument that lets me sing any music that gives me the opportunity to do this! I hope to share that with my students as well.

Erica Perhrson is a very fun, but professional individual to work with! She knows her stuff and she taught me in a way that I could understand. She helped me get out of your comfort zone! I really enjoyed the few voice lessons I was able to have with her!

Erica was very professional but also helped me feel comfortable enough to get out of my shell and try new techniques to help me get better shape and depth to my voice. It was so much fun and so exciting having her start unlocking this vocal potential I never knew I had! Definitely recommend her!!

Erica was able to listen to my singing voice and knew not only what I was doing wrong, but how I could fix it. She was able to relax my voice and open up my register which helped me immensely. I would definitely recommend her as a classical voice teacher.
