Introduction: MYBODY4LIFE is highly recommended by professional athletes! Our practice provides each patient the highest quality of care through an integrative medical approach, which targets many powerful forces that affect our health and capacity to heal. We treat patients based on the eastern philosophy of treating the whole body as well as utilizing scientific information from western medicine. Exploring Integrative or commonly referred to as holistic medicine, which encompasses the whole person, body, mind, and spirit–-and addresses the underlying causes of illness, which is unique to each individual and not just the symptoms. Beliefs can be powerful forces that affect our health and capacity to heal whether personal or cultural. They influence us in one of two ways–-they modify our behavior or they stimulate physiological changes in our endocrine or immune systems. Our goal is to help you to not only get better but also practice complementary lifestyle changes to maintain your wellness even after our care. Our goal consists of a step-by-step plan on your well-being so that you can be in charge of your own health and have a positive attitude and happier life.

I am 52 years old and have been involved in all sports since I was about 4 years old. My love and focus was and is still, baseball. I play competitively in an age 28+ league here in Florida. As you can imagine, after years of beating up my body, I developed more and more aches and pains. I've torn hamstrings, separated my shoulder about 6 times, broken bones, so with all these and getting older, they were becoming unbearable. A friend told me about Dr. Norika and her practice and a multifaceted approach, one being acupuncture. To say the least, I was very skeptical. I met with Dr. Norika and spent our first visit talking about my past, medications I had used in the past, injuries, treatments, etc. she was very detailed with respect to what my issues were and expectations through various types of treatments. She has an amazing insight to the body and which treatments to use for various aches and pains. One thing Dr. Norika focused on mainly, was getting to the root of the pain problem. She focused on acupuncture, laser treatment, manual therapy and massage. I was truly amazed! After our first treatment, I felt noticeably better. The true test was playing my next baseball game. I felt years younger and an amazing feeling playing with much less pain. The combination of treatments: acupuncture, laser, manual, massage and posture readjustment, was my "fountain of youth." Dr. Norika didn't stop there. She continued to give me "homework", things to continue working on at home to help myself feel better. We also talked about nutrition and how my nutrition can make a huge impact on how I feel daily. She gave me a nutrition plan and we talked over the months readjusting it from time to time, to get it where I can really feel a difference. If it weren't for Dr. Norika, I would have had to stop playing baseball and wouldn't have had the energy to get out and be as active as I am with my two boys. I can't thank her enough! And for all you skeptics out there, like I was, she improved my life 100%! Thanks Doc! Bill W.

I was referred to Doc Norika after dealing with a lot of pain and agony and trying to deal with our normal medical system. I am an ex equestrian athlete that got hurt many times during my quest to make the US Olympic team, I didn’t make the team but qualified to try out in Gladstone NJ and was the youngest ever to qualify at age 17. I went to a Dr. about 8 years ago and he told me that I may need meniscus surgery if the pain gets too bad, He asked me what sport I played in school and he told me that’s typical in my sport but there is a long recovery period. Life went on and after marriage children and career, I had a massive coronary and a major surgery at age 60. It took me over 6 months to semi recover and I felt lousy, then I met with Doc Norika. After 3 months of her treatment of acupuncture, pain management and her shots of B-12 and natural meds, as well as her dietary guidance, I am a different man and feel 99% healed!! Her Eastern Medical skills have helped me become the new Ned and I really appreciate what she has done for me. I would highly recommend Doc Norika for all of her skills and for anyone that has pain looking for an alternative before any type of surgery and her Nutritional Diet works for anyone looking to lose weight.
