About this pro
As a long time Florida resident and Certified Professional Inspector® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors—I’m able to offer my clients not just a thorough home inspection and reliable report, but a range of services, guarantees and warranties with each inspection. Included with every Home Inspection is a 90 DAY INSPECTION GUARANTEE, MOLD SAFE WARRANTY, SEWERGARD PROTECTION, 5 YEAR ROOF LEAK WARRANTY and an APPLIANCE RECALL CHECK. In addition I've had extensive training in the biology and identification of termite, wood boring insects, and wood destroying fungus through the University of Florida's entomology dept. and I am a Certified Pest Control Operator by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and can provide you with a WDO report along with your Home Inspection report. I can also provide Insurance Reports as needed such as a 4 Point, Wind Mitigation, Roof Certification, plus Well Water Analysis and Mold Testing. Additional fees may apply. What this means to you is the convenience of making just one phone call and one appointment time to order a discounted multi report package. These days if you want an Unbiased and Fair report it's wise to do your research and choose your own Inspector. More and more Home Buyers are making the prudent decision to choose their own Inspector instead of just blindly going with their Agent's preferred Home Inspector. That is precisely why I chose to sign up with Thumbtack a few weeks ago. I prefer to deal with more Home Buyers versus Realtors. I may be new to Thumbtack (which is why I don't have many reviews), but I'm not new to Home Inspection. If you allow me the opportunity to do business with you I promise I will give you my very best effort. Home inspecting fits my personality very well; I love facts and logic and solving mysteries. Houses hold all of those things, and I get to spend every day investigating them.

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The pricing system is based mostly on square footage however, in cases where the house is in a serious state of disrepair or is very old or is an unusual construction type the standard fee may need to be adjusted to account for the additional inspection and reporting time involved. 0 to 1500 square feet = $275 1501 - 2500 square feet = $325 2501 - 3500 square feet = $375 3501 - 5000 square feet = $425 More than 5000 square feet, or extra out-buildings: Give us a call! Crawl Space add $50 Add ons 4-Point Inspection = $100 ($50 with full home inspection) Wind Mitigation = $100 ($50 with full home inspection) WDO/Termite = $80 ($50 with full home inspection) Pool/Spa Inspection = $50 Water Analysis = $150
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until your inspection appointment--after you have hired me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. One thing that's certain is that a home inspection requires a lot of work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort. This I promise you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I receive home inspection training through Internachi (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Home inspection training is an ongoing endeavor and I have to complete a certain amount of CEU's to renew my license. In addition I belong to several trade groups whose members are mostly other home inspectors from other parts of the US. We share our combined knowledge in a forum which is very helpful in keeping up with standards of practice. As a licensed WDO Inspector I have been fortunate enough to have had excellent training through the University of Florida's entomology department. In addition, while working for a large pest control company, I inspected hundreds of homes across Central Florida for real estate transactions. I also have to complete a certain amount of CEU's to renew my pest control license every year.
