Excellent service, very professional and just so accommodating.Dec 3, 2017Verified
Dave was punctual and very professional. What I liked was the home town feel where someone comes to your house to provide a service and didn't spend an hour trying to sell you something else. I've already recommended him to co-workers and wouldn't hesitate for one minute to call on him again. Oh yes, very reasonable too!Oct 25, 2017Verified
We were purchasing a house in Palm Coast. New to the area. Went on thumb tack. Really was pleased with Dwell. Can not say enough about the experience. Would highly recommend.Oct 2, 2017Verified
Jeff was extremely thorough. He went in all the attics and crawl spaces, something that previous WDO inspectors had not done. He is NOT affiliated with treatment of insects which means he is not trying to sell you on a treatment plan. His only goal is to create an objective WDO report and/or educate you on what's going on in your home. He told me all about the issues I'd be facing and made recommendations based on his many years of experience. His estimates on cost were spot on. WELL worth the money, and he is someone you can trust. I will recommend him to my friends and family.Oct 2, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The pricing system is based mostly on square footage however, in cases where the house is in a serious state of disrepair or is very old or is an unusual construction type the standard fee may need to be adjusted to account for the additional inspection and reporting time involved. 0 to 1500 square feet = $275 1501 - 2500 square feet = $325 2501 - 3500 square feet = $375 3501 - 5000 square feet = $425 More than 5000 square feet, or extra out-buildings: Give us a call! Crawl Space add $50 Add ons 4-Point Inspection = $100 ($50 with full home inspection) Wind Mitigation = $100 ($50 with full home inspection) WDO/Termite = $80 ($50 with full home inspection) Pool/Spa Inspection = $50 Water Analysis = $150
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until your inspection appointment--after you have hired me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. One thing that's certain is that a home inspection requires a lot of work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort. This I promise you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I receive home inspection training through Internachi (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Home inspection training is an ongoing endeavor and I have to complete a certain amount of CEU's to renew my license. In addition I belong to several trade groups whose members are mostly other home inspectors from other parts of the US. We share our combined knowledge in a forum which is very helpful in keeping up with standards of practice. As a licensed WDO Inspector I have been fortunate enough to have had excellent training through the University of Florida's entomology department. In addition, while working for a large pest control company, I inspected hundreds of homes across Central Florida for real estate transactions. I also have to complete a certain amount of CEU's to renew my pest control license every year.
