Introduction: Started playing the piano when I was 5, I began playing piano professionally for a catholic church, and the Sacramento Theater Company since 2011 when I was only a sophomore in high school. In 2012, I was one of the 3 recipient of a scholarship from the American Guild Organists, and studied organ under the direction of Dr. Nancy Metzger. I studied piano performance with Steinway Artist Dr. Natsuki Fukasawa and was the piano accompanist for 2 school musicals. During senior year of high school, I was the conductor of the pit orchestra for our school musical- The Music Man. In college, have played in chamber ensembles, performing pieces by Brahms, Mozart and Schumann. In 2014, I won a solo competition and performed Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major Mvt. I with the Cal Poly Symphony.
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students fall in love with the instrument like I did because they understand the technique and the story behind each piece of music.
