- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Let's face it. You're perusing through the providers on this site to save $, which will require a little "due diligence" on your part. 1. Obtain as much information about what is wrong and/or what improvement(s) you want done. For example: You may not know exactly what's wrong or how much things will cost to repair a leak off the top of your head. However, Google can help with possible causes and you can get an over-under cost of the materials and time required. 2. Control your material costs by insisting on "phone sales", offered by Home Depot and Lowe's. Thus, giving you the opportunity to know your exact cost for materials and avoid the "mark-ups" often associated added by many professionals. 3. Determine willingness of the handyman to see your vision and work with you to make it a reality.
