Ms Cat was by far the best of all the tutoring therapists I observed working with my grandchildren. Not only was she on time and professional but she knew what she was doing and she did it well. We had multiple people work with my son and everyone said he was the most difficult child they'd ever worked with. Ms. Cat was able to hang in there with us for years! (age 5-12 when we moved away) She has experience with multiple types of challenges including the quirks of kids with autism spectrum and can even deal with the "behavior" kids. She worked with my daughter as well and we have come to see her as family. My son, now 15 even said, "Looking back, it seems like Ms. Cat could handle just about anything."

I include travel costs in my quotes. My quote is for an hour of service. For multiple hours, I will work out a discounted rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with them and get to know what they are looking for, expectations, and current strengths. I customize my teaching to meet each students needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 14 years experience as a registered behavioral technician. I have taught home school, and have been tutoring for the last two years. I have my AA from Valencia and am in progress on my BA from USF. I won the Hollins College writing award for promising young female authors in Virginia while in high school.
