FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we like to have a clear expectation of what inspection consists of and what it doesn't cover. While performing the inspection we like to explain what we are looking for and why, when we see things of concern we note the information and explain in depth what why it is a concern, whether it be a safety concern, near end of life expectancy, or sufficient for its purpose. After the inspection is complete we will discuss the notations taken during the inspection and answer any questions the customer may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a veteran of the United States Army, where we take pride in our work and find the importance in attention to detail. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health, and worked in the oil field as safety inspector for 4 years, inspecting commercial buildings, oil rigs, and mobile units. I conducted my training with American Home Inspection Training (AHIT) and passed the Florida state exam, making me Licensed and certified in the stated of Florida.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I believe questions that should be thought through before asking are home decor questions, asking for non professional opinions, as professionals we cannot provide anything other than professional opinions based on the current condition of the home. while completing the home inspection we feel that all question asked by the customer are pertinent "the only stupid question is the one not asked".
