FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Services are provided at individual prices per project. Contracts are requested with high-end projects. You will always receive a written quote. There is a $30.00 charge to diagnose a problem and that fee is waived if you choose to hire Rick's Repair & Maintenance to complete your project. There is no upcharge for materials and supplies. If materials need to picked up, time will be charged to you for that or you are welcome to provide your own materials. Sometimes materials are already in stock. All fees are due in cash at the completion of the project and you will receive a receipt/invoice for your records.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss any new project/repair with my customer and ensure that we are on the same page. I feel it is very important to explain what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. Once a customer chooses to utilize my services, I give a written quote and discuss the materials needed. A time is set up to complete the project/repair and an invoice/receipt is given to the customer at the completion of the project/repair.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 years of professional experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, welding, and automotive repair.
