FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 and hour when I work by myself. If I need help than I charge $12 to $15 an hour per person that is on the job with me. I do have a minimum charge of $150 which includes the first 3 hours of work. After that it is the hourly rate. The minimum charge it to cover expense for traveling to and from the job. Most jobs will be hourly, I don't do many quotes because you never know what you are getting into. I will always do the job right, I don't cut corners and I make sure you are getting your moneys worth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first find out what the job entails so I can properly decide if the job is a fit for me. After that we decide on a time for us to meet and I can go to work. That is it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training has been all on the job. I started framing on a crew and quickly learned that. After that I started learning about other areas of construction. I enjoy finish work a lot, it is so nice to stand back and look at the awesome work once it is done. I can also help you finish your basement from start to finish. Decks are something else that I enjoy building. I take the time to learn about your needs and how they can be met.
