- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved photography, but it was always second to my career as a social worker. When my daughter was born in 2016, I saw first hand how fleeting all of these moments are. I take every opportunity to capture her growing up and even hire our own photographer so that I am in the frame. I know how special these moments are, I get choked up just thinking about Lucie as a tiny babe. I want my clients to FEEL their photos and remember vividly what it was like at that point in time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would encourage any clients looking for a photographer to really look at portfolios and be sure the style and quality of their work represents how you want your family captured. Their gallery should make you feel something, be drawn to certain elements etc.
