Shannon and her assistant did an outstanding job for me and 9 of my bridal party member's hair! Her work was amazing, and she and her assistant were super efficient in getting us finished in time for pictures. Not only that, but she also made sure that each and every one of us were pleased with our hair before she finished. Communicating and planning with her was easy, and she's also very friendly!

I found Shannon Marie Styling on Thumbtack and could not be happier! She was very professional and her work was excellent. I had an important job interview in Phoenix and was going to be visiting from out of state, she was willing to travel to me as I was unfamiliar with the Phoenix area. My interview was early in the morning so I requested she arrive by 7am. She was very timely and able to complete the style ahead of schedule! She was also helpful in selecting an elegant but professional hair style. I did receive an offer from the company I interviewed with, I am not saying her styling and the offer are related, but why risk it! Book this stylist for all your needs! She is awesome!!

Shannon Marie is wonderful! She was incredibly accommodating when scheduling our trial and has even helped refer me to makeup artists she has worked with when I was having trouble finding someone. Overall, Shannon is a genius when it comes to braiding and really takes her time to make sure the style is perfected and that the experience is great. Shannon was fabulous to work with! She did my hair and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding last month. She did a gorgeous job and she is a MASTER at braiding - you have to check out her instagram! She is very sweet and professional and did such an outstanding job on everyone's hair. I hope I have a reason to hire her again soon!

Shannon is amazing. She did such a beautiful job with my bridal hair! It was exactly what I wanted with flowers placed perfectly. My friends and family were actually commenting on it all night! :) Shannon herself is lovely to work with. She was so nice, and her calm personality really helped me to settle down on the day of the wedding. Her prices are very reasonable for the high quality of work she is capable of. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for my hair styling services depends on what type of event I am styling for, the hair style chosen, and length of the clients hair. I send out a contract with my list of prices for ever client that hires me so that they review it and choose the best option to fit their needs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Hair Styling has always been a passion of mine since I was in High School. I started with doing my family and friends hair for any special events they had, and realized along the way that I wanted to turn my passion into a business so that I could experience more of it. Four years ago I did just that and started my hair styling business as Shannon Marie Styling. It has been one of the best and most rewarding decisions I have ever made.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a hair stylist, one of my biggest recommendations is to look at their portfolio of work. Make sure they have plenty of pictures of their work and an array of different styles shown.
