Introduction: With an interior design degree from ASU, 20 years of interior design experience - including 12 years focused on the high-end, Italian cabinetry and furnishings market, and a true enjoyment of hands-on design projects and installations; I'm your basic designer with a critical, modern eye and the practical skills of a handyman -- as well as your standard, light-duty handyman with the color and composition eye of a designer.
Clean and simple, refined, modern interiors is what I know and do best. Mix in some wabi-sabi, desert industrial, or International style, and we'll create a home or room unlike any other. I still draw by hand, because it's expressive and works as free therapy. I also enjoy working with systems requiring secondary design (think Ikea, Poliform), and I'll even just come and assemble furniture for you... What do you need?

David Cline performed full interior design and kitchen design services during the construction of a large custom home in Northern California. We are extremely satisfied with the result. David is very talented and has the experience and capability to keep things simple. He is amazing with color and material selections. The result is clean simple unique and beautiful. He is sensitive to costs even though its an expensive ocean-side property.
During the course of construction David also performed cabinet and furniture assembly in some of our specialty rooms. He is capable and willing to contribute wherever he is helpful.
Aside from being talented and experienced David is a nice person, patient, flexible, pleasant, smart and responsive. Extremely nice to work with. He knows his furniture which is an added bonus. I have great respect for David, totally trust his judgement and learned a great deal working closely with him. I would be happy to provide a detailed reference if contacted.

David just finished assembling our IKEA queen size Malm bed with under-the-bed drawers. He worked diligently and tirelessly and the bed looks fantastic! We wouldn't hesitate to hire David Cline again.
