I knew from my experience working with Cody on unrelated school projects that he would be a great person to work with. I was correct in my assumptions! His attention to detail and response times have been most impressive. Cody showed me a dozen properties before finding the right one. He would send me custom lists of homes that he thought I would be interested in and would be in constant communication which is important for a motivated buyer.Cody's negotiation skills helped me secure a house that had multiple offers on it that was 1 day on the market for a great price. Can't speak highly enough about Cody and his abilities as a residential agent. My housing search was long and tedious as we were after a very small pocket of town that was very competitive and I had lost on a couple offers before getting synced up with Cody. We met and went over my search criteria and what exactly I was after so he could understand the target and even made some suggestions on areas to stay away from that I had previously been looking at. When the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood came up, he made himself available immediately to go tour it. Cody reached out and did a fantastic job of gathering some very critical pieces of information about the sellers from their agent that eventually helped us land the house. He made a very specific recommendation on the price we should go in at to land the house as there was a handful of interested parties at the time it listed. We ended up landing the house at the exact number he suggested! He was constantly available over the course of closing and anytime we needed/wanted to go see the place for measurements etc, he was always there. If I could give 10 stars I would! As a person who works in mortgages and facilitated hundreds of purchase transactions I have been able to work with a wide range of realtors all across the country and dealing with Cody was second to none. I brought a referral to Cody knowing very well that this is his area of expertise and he is one of the most qualified realtors in the Valley and I was nothing short of impressed throughout the entire process. Cody was able to negotiate a purchase 15k under asking price as well as secure over 20,000 in seller credits for our borrower that got him into his dream house. Not only that, but Cody went above and beyond making sure the borrower, a close friend, had all the inspections completed to make sure he was buying a sound property. We found there were some issues we wanted fixed and Cody expertly negotiated with the Seller and the end result was every box we wanted being checked off. Cody is patient, thorough, honest, and very accommodating! I will absolutely be reaching out to Cody come my next purchase and highly recommend him to all friends and family. Thanks Cody!

Very professional agent to deal with. He was knowledgeable and I felt like he really knew what the market was doing. Watching him deal with the sellers agents I felt like I had a great person representing me to get the best deal possible. I also had a sense that he was looking out for what was best for me and not for his commission.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Real estate commissions are typically paid by the seller of a property. Resident charges a 6% commission for all listings. Buyer's agents are paid a portion of the 6% commission. So, working with an agent as a buyer is free!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I like to have an initial conversation to discuss their goals and what they are trying to accomplish. To be as accommodating as possible, this can be done: over a phone call, in person, by email, or by video conference.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and my Master's in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University. I received my real estate license five years ago, and recently received my broker's license. Shortly after, I created Resident, the newest real estate company in Arizona.
