- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is in part based upon location and how far I will need to travel as well the services required. I will typically discount the rate if my services are required for multiple visits during the week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find it best to start by meeting you and your pet(s) in person first. It is important that you feel comfortable with me and that your pet does too. Then we can go over all the details, what you need me to do while caring for your pet, where things are kept, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
There was couple that I lived next door to that I was very close with. Whenever they went out of town I would come over and care for their 2 dogs and cats. I realized how important it is for people to have someone that is reliable and that they can trust who will be there for their animals when they are away. I really enjoyed the time I spent with their fury family. I thought about the friends that I have who love animals as much as I do and realized I could do more. Since I work part time from home mostly it was very easy to start this business.
