- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Emergency calls:. All emergency calls I charge a fee of $40 just to show up this is in addition to hourly charges and any material charges. Reason for this is if I'm call for an emergency my clients that have already been booked for that time suffer and usually get aggrivated at the delay and if they have a deadline I could loose them as clients. If a project takes 1 or 2 hours I charge $20.00 per hour. Any project that takes 3 or more hours to complete I charge $15 per hour. Any direct quote for fixed price voids top two pricing styles. Seniors age 60 + 10% discount from total cost. Veterans and Active duty military or spouses. 15% discount off total cost. Please be aware I use Phoenix bus system to travel to my customers. I only carry basic tools with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years experience doing all phases of residential remodel and repair. My fortay's are electrical, painting exterior/ interior, organizing, cleaning, and assembly of any item. I also can do the following types of work. Roofing, sheetrock, texturing, framing, masonry, plumbing, landscaping, sprinkler systems repair/replace, flooring, carpet, tile, wood strip, exterior siding vynal, aluminum, Masonite, automotive parts remove and replace, engine teardown and rebuild, personal computer diagnosis, repair, rebuild, refurbish, also have certificates for Solar panel systems design and install and maintenance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started when house I was renting needed repairs and I did ten all myself. Landlord was overjoyed with results and gave me two free months of rent.
