FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each event is different. Our process is really geared towards the clients benefit. We like to have consultations with our clients to understand the vision they have. From there we build a menu specifically catered to you and your needs in order to create your perfect event. Cooking Lessons are usually priced differently. We over package deals for family lessons or larger classes. Keep in mind food cost, labor, equipment and utility costs all play a factor. Our base price starts at $75.00 per hour. (Classes are usually a minimum of 1.5 hrs)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As stated in a previous question, upon meeting a new client we like to provide a free consultation (can also be completed virtually or via telephone) to understand the client's needs, as well as help our potential client with any questions she/he may have with the event or class. Here we explain the following: 1. Outline what services we provide and what services we outsource 2. Create and agree upon a menu based on your event needs 3. Agree on date and time of event 4. Answer any questions you may have concerning event 5. Agree upon date to reconvene with menu and contract (virtually) 6. Discuss payment process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner and executive chef has over 15 years of food service experience both as an employee and manager. He started off in trade school where he earned his culinary arts certification graduating top of his class. He then earned his bachelors degree in hospitality management with a minor in marketing. Along the way he has acquired his food safety management license. He also not only became ServSafe Certified (food handler certification) but he is also a licensed proctor/instructor as well.
