FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If there is 2 or more students per household I can give a discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have many books for beginners that I used growing up. I usually get a feel how the student is going to learn to enjoy music and then go from there. There are different types of beginner books, one focusing more on the technical aspect and the other one on note reading right from the start, so its really based on how the student learns and take small steps from there. Technicality is a huge theme in my teaching as that is the ground work the student will use to play music proficiently. If the student is intermediate and advancing I make sure that his note reading ability is down solidly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Piano Teacher for a couple of months now. At this moment I am giving private lessons to beginners and looking to expand my student base. I was an Organist from October 2007 to December 2008 at Our Lady of Victory, where I played for a choir with over 15 hymns in my repertoire and performed for a congregation with over 200 participants on a weekly basis. In 2005 I was the rehearsal pianist for Southwest Ballet in Carnegie, PA. Also, in 2004, I played at the Scholarship Awards Ceremony for Ukrainian Technological Society.
