Prior to relocating to the Portland area we happened to meet Starr on a vacation outing and took her business card in case we needed a realtor. I am soooo glad we did. I can honestly say that she is the absolute best realtor we have ever worked with, and trust me, we worked with 2 different agents for 2 simultaneous house sales in Idaho as we were selling ours to relocate. She not put in an enormous amount of time with us, but the follow through, knowledge and extra leg work she did for us was beyond compare. You will not be disappointed when working with Starr.

Starr was outstanding on day one and didn't stop until the job was done. She actually has still been a great resource since the deal has been sealed. She has great knowledge of the process and what to keep an eye on in every house you will walk through. I have learned more about house hunting and home ownership since spending time with Starr. She is very knowledgable about the ins and outs of house hunting and negotiations including the best way to track down home repair bids. Starr took the great care in listening to what we were looking for and found us a great home. I would recommend her to anyone in the area.

    In Oregon, buyer representation is free and both the listing and buying agents are paid from a listing contract at closing.

    I love working with all types of buyers and sellers, whether you are a first-time home buyer/seller or seasoned, our initial consultation will be as follows: Buyers: Our first encounter could be in my office or at the local coffee shop. I want to learn more about you, your family, needs and expectations. I will let you know what to expect from the buying process and ask you how you ‘d like to proceed. If you have not contacted a lender yet, I’ll help you find one and secure a pre-qualification letter so you’ll be prepared to make an offer when you find the right property. Sellers:Our first meeting will take place in your home. You’ll tour me through your home and highlight favorite features. Then, we will discuss your plans and goals for the sale. I want to understand what’s important to you, so that I tailor my marketing plan to achieve your goals. Comparative Market Analysis and Choosing the List Price: After the home tour, we’ll meet a second time to discuss the market and how it will affect your property and list price. I will prepare a Comparative Market Analysis, which will include surrounding active properties, pending and sold sales. We’ll discuss how each home compares to yours and how the comps impact your sale. Choosing a list price is your decision. We’ll discuss pricing strategy, and I will provide the data and help you understand the turnover rate, months of inventory available and average days on the market.
