FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts of 40/hour lessons if you're available to pay out by the month, for an overall savings of 20$ per month. Most of my students opt for this method. I accept Paypal, or have a Verified Square Account capable of processing Swipe or Chip cards. Additionally I offer to Transcribe ANY song for a student for 5$ per song, and write out a Lead Sheet and provide you a PDF of your choice!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new student receives an almost identical first lesson, consisting of a Music Theory Primer, and then an email of 15 different Lead Sheets of Songs of my Choice. Then, the following week, we branch out into the music you're interested in playing - regardless of Genre or Style. Also, In about 45 minutes we go over almost the entire year of first level collegiate music theory. This includes: -How to spell every type of Triad -How to spell every Major Scale -How to transpose using Roman Numeral Analysis -Correct vocabulary for communicating with other musicians -How to read Lead Sheets or Grand Staff Notation -Correct at-home Practice Technique
