FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on your particular needs and is customized to fit your request. However as a general idea I charge anywhere from $100-500 per hour/per session: this includes the rights to ALL edited photos. You can expect at least 10 edited photo files for a hour-long professional headshot session, and at least 20 edited photo files for a two-hour long senior photo session. Again, this is just a jumping off point: I have had sessions (such as engagements) that have produced hundreds of edited photos if this is what the client is looking for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free in-person, phone, or e-mail consult to decide if we will be a good fit in working together. My goal is to learn about what you are looking for so I can decide if I am the right professional for you. If not I have many highly qualified referrals in the area to suggest for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began studying photography with a colleague while living in Europe. It is so fun for me, and a way to unleash my creative side and let off steam from my full time job as a mental health counselor. My training as a counselor allows me to help my clients feel very comfortable being photographed, and as a result my photos look very natural.
