- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey with photography started with landscapes. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest gave me a huge appreciation for nature and for beauty in general, and the camera helped me to capture that. I’d always loved weddings and had been intrigued by them so I took a leap of faith and started on the path that I’m currently on. In taking this step, I’ve found so much fulfillment. Unlike when I was strictly doing landscapes, I now had collaborators. Every shoot was different because every couple is different. It’s exciting to meet and work with people from so many different backgrounds and learn so much about not only photography, but about the world as well.
