Introduction: All of my clients achieve stellar results. I make it easy to practice the training by providing tip sheets following the lessons. The 4-hours of dog training (6 lesson package) means you see results and can continue working with us or use the skills I teach you to move forward on your own. I give you the tools and help you become your dog’s trainer. It works! I also have free walks for practice with me for all former and current students. Training is about YOU and your family and your success.
I love bringing humans and dogs together in a family. Training helps both relax and enjoy time together. Most likely you will need more than one lesson. I make it affordable for you to get results with your pup and I am with you through it all. I customize a program that will work for you and all of your family - furry and not furry. Four-hours of lessons usually breaks into 6 lessons and all for one price. I am nationally certified, CPDT-KA and always gaining continuing education.

Risa has a true talent communicating with our German Shepard, and us her owners. We're making good progress and am looking forward to getting the most our of our training to help make our dog as happy and well behaved as possible.

Risa is a lover of dogs and dog lovers. She has worked with my daughter for over a year with a rescue dog, Lexie. Risa has been patient in the training--she does not move on if more work is needed in a particular area, either on behalf of the dog or the owner. We have appreciated her work with us, and Lexie is a much more pleasant part of our family now. Risa also has a heart for pairing folks with disabilities with therapy dogs. Training and therapy dogs--Risa at George and Friends is THE Go-To Person!

Friendly, great advice to help us train our puppy. Risa is kind, energetic, and goes beyond expectations. One of the best parts is she is training all 5 of us - my 2 kids, husband, myself and our puppy - so to me it is well worth the money!! And she is wonderful with kids!
