SAT/ACT/SSAT Prep

Small group classes or one to one tutoring available. While I focus on the Writing, Reading and Essay sections of the exams, I work in tandem with a retired UNH mathematics professor, Ihab Farag. Together, we prepare students for all aspects of the SAT and/or the ACT. As a semi-retired writer, I enjoy working with the high school students on improving their reading, writing....and GRAMMAR skills. Most have not had a lesson focused on grammar after middle school. Given that 1/3 of the SAT tests these skills, it is gratifying to see the kids' faces light up when they get a clear explanation of what a semi-colon is and how to use it.
