Leon responded quickly to my request for a small but tricky cabinet repair. He problem-solved the issues and was able to complete the work in a satisfactory and very professional manner. I would highly recommend him for his customer service and attention to detail.

This was my first contact with Raleigh Cabinetworks and the cabinet maker Mr. Walton. I had contacted multiple cabinet makers to obtain an estimate for my project. I met with Mr. Walton at his shop and immediately, I was wanting him to perform the job. From the start, he sat down with me and planned out the project. He was receptive and easy to work with. During the construction of the cabinets, he was in constant communication with me and providing updates to the progress. During construction, I wanted to alter a portion of the cabinets and Mr. Walton was gracious and adaptive to a change. When the cabinets were installed, Mr. Walton observed two items that I would have never noticed. However, his "Attention to Detail" was above and beyond what I was expecting. He could have over-looked it but, he immediately stopped and made corrections that improved the final outcome. His professionalism to the quality of his work says a lot about Mr. Walton and the relationship he has with his customers. During the installation of his cabinets, I asked for his assistance in another room. Without hesitation, he graciously performed that task. I already have plans for other projects with cabinet construction and I already know who I want to perform this project. If you are looking for quality work and at a great value, I would highly recommend Mr. Walton and his work crew to perform any and all of your cabinet needs.

Leon, the owner, is absolutely outstanding! Not only is he one of the most technical people I have ever met, he's got the personality of someone you would want to invite to your house for dinner. Do yourself a favor and let him handle your cabinet and countertop needs.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We are experienced in all types of cabinet projects and upgrades so the first step is to actually meet with the homeowner at the place where the actual renovations will take place. By doing this we can give recommendations that will not only bring the kitchens appearance up to date but make activities in the kitchen more efficient.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the furniture and kitchen and bath industry for more than thirty years. I have also owned an refinishing business that included restoring antiques. That experience gave me a basis for applying the proper finishes to projects and the ability to match colors of pieces that were finished years before.
