- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are several things customers show know about my pricing. Before I get into details about my pricing I want to clarify that I do wedding photography services for the love of photographing weddings and not the money. Now with that being said, I have two affordable and reasonable wedding photography event price packages for you to choose from. The first package is only $800. The package includes me photographing the entire wedding in high depth detail including the ceremony and reception. It includes an all day wedding photography service starting with the bridal and groom preparation pictures moment before the ceremony. For example, I will be taking in depth high detailed pictures of the bride and bridesmaids getting their hair and make up done in the mirror in various poses, angles, and lighting. Next I will take detailed wedding pictures of the ceremonial. For example the bridal party which includes bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, and ring bearers and the bride aisle walk moment. At the ceremony, I will also capture in detail, the Vow and ring exchange, first kiss, and ceremony exit. These in depth detailed pictures will be captured at various angles, lights, and poses. After the ceremony I will be taking in depth detailed family formal pictures. These pictures will include the bridal party, bride, groom and both families of the bride and groom. For example, the mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather of the bride and the mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather of the groom. Others will include the brothers and sister, flower girl and ring bearer as well. These pictures will be captured in great detail with various angles, poses and lighting. Following the family formals, I will be capturing all of the in depth detailed wedding reception pictures. will begin with the bridal party introduction, followed by the first dance, cake cutting , toast, mother/son, father/ daughter dance, last dance, reception send off celebration and more. All edits, full rights along to all pictures with a flash drive will be provided. Finally as a bonus, you also get a high quality in depth detailed wedding photo album of all your favorite chosen wedding moments. My second price package is set at $1,000 The difference between the $1000 and the $800 is the $1000 wedding photography package includes a wedding engagement shoot at a location of your choice and a customized personalized beautiful full color wedding photo album to cherish as memorabilia. All packages include travel, setup, and breakdown of all equipment including lights, backdrops, flashes, cameras, stands, props, and more. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have several unique processes for working with new customers. The first stage of the process is all done online. When new customers view my online information, I try an give new customers a sense of my work style and personality characteristics beforehand by providing lots of detailed information about me online before we even have the first point of contact. I give lots of detailed personal experience information about me on my thumbtack profile, my personal website and my social media facebook page. This detailed information will give customers an understanding of who I am before they even meet me. I try to give as much detail about myself and my photography services as I can. I want the customer to feel like they know me before they even talk to me. On the other hand, I like to read and research the customers profile to understand there wants and needs. I want to feel like I know them as well beforehand. Having this information makes it easier when we do eventually talk because we feel like we know and trust each other enough to exchange personal contact information. The second stage of the process is talking on the phone. The phone conversation will give us an opportunity to go over more event details and just to see if we will be a good fit for each other doing business together. I try to keep the communication up beat and friendly on the phone. Giving the customer my undivided attention and listening closely to their wants and needs. Listening helps the customers feel at ease and trust me. Once the trust is built with me, they will likely move into the final stage of the process. The final stage of the process is to fill out a contract agreement and put down a deposit to secure the event date. This is the typical process for new customers all written down in detail.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lot of skills and experience that has helped me to relate to and understand the wedding photography business. I have four years experience in the photography business plus an education in digital computer technology. Also, my mother and father both are in the wedding photography business, so it was only natural that I was drawn into the business as well. My father has 10 years and my mother has an education in photography as well. When I got my first camera, which was a Nikon d3200, I will always remember the feeling of joy and excitement that I felt inside my spirit. It was a feeling that I will be using this piece of equipment to do something that I have always had a love and passion for and that love is for the art of photography. I also would be helping people capture the most precious moments of their life such as weddings, graduations, birthdays and more. I quickly began learning this camera by using myself, and family as my models to practice the camera settings. For example, whenever my family member had a special event, I would ask if I could bring my camera and photograph the event. Im good with people and everyone felt comfortable posing for me. The word soon got back around to everyone with word of mouth and other individuals were contacting me to photograph their events. As I got better and more confident in myself and skills in photography, I started to market online and gain exposure world wide with my photography. One of my first wedding photography clients was a memorable experience. I photographed a wedding in the summertime outside at a beautiful home. Everything turned out amazing and I am glad I photographed the wedding.
