There are not enough stars to give Mark for the photography services he provided our NYE party. We had booked a photo both for the event and figured with camera phones we didn’t need a professional photographer. The night before the event and seeing my vision coming together, I knew I wanted one. I took a leap and posted my want and my budget here knowing it would be a shoot in the dark. To my surprise, Mark responded within an hour saying he would be in the Raleigh area and would be happy to capture the event for us. He agreed to shoot the event for my budget. Offered me a huge upgrade that would capture the entire evening for a very modest price that I will NEVER regret jumping on. He kept contact with me the day of the event, looked at our event details and dressed our black tie theme. Showed up and spent the entire evening into the morning of 2020 taking pictures of moments our guest will never forget. Here is what made his services not only professional but what I would say shows his enjoyment and love for what he does and how he hears his clients needs. Mark had 100’s of pictures to me the next afternoon and 100’s more the next day!!! My event was a public event and he explained to me the importance of having those images available ASAP to the attendees. I was just grateful he came, he put that timing detail on himself to assure the event maintained the positive feedback and reviews he heard that night. I can not thank Mark enough for being the skilled professional photographer he is, but also the generally good person he is for wanting the best for those he works with. I’ve already asked him to mark his 12/31/2020 schedule booked for BluBox. However before then, I hope to be able to work with him on some other events and a personal family shoot. No hesitation when I say I already have and will continue to recommend Mark East Photography. Thank you Mark!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Krista provided OUTSTANDING photos of our wedding. We were at an outdoor venue and she utilized the setting and lighting in a beautiful, professional way. The photos captured all parts of the day and night and really told a story of the events. We had asked for specific types of shots and poses and she really captured everything we could ever have wanted. Her photos are very artistic, and full of little details that other photographers may miss. Additionally, she is a genuinely nice and caring person. You can tell she is excited for the work that she does. This was very helpful before the wedding when people were nervous. During the reception, I feel like I never saw her, yet she captured SO MANY wonderful photos. She is able to sort of stay out of the limelight, so people don't feel like they are being photographed, which allows her to capture great candid shots. We love Krista and will definitely hire her when we need photographs in the future!

Pros: On time Good pictures Courteous Reasonable rates Cons: Not suggested for outdoor and guest parties, didn’t took pictures of any parents in the kids birthday party Had to call text multiple time to get pictures Took nearly a month to send pictures and that too after so many calls and texts I won’t be personally recommending for birthday parties etc. possibly good for still photography but dont have ideas for beautiful pictures. My family will be finding another photographer for our next events.
