Introduction: AVAILABLE to LIFE GUARD POOL PARTIES THIS SUMMER! Ensure your children and other children’s safety with a lifeguard on duty! Enjoy your child’s birthday without worrying about the safety of the children! Availability is limited! I plan to take on a few students this summer to learn to swim in a fun and motivating environment. Please reach out for all swim related needs! I only have a few students which gives me the chance to get personal with my students and have a very fun and easy going environment. My goal is for all of my students to improve each session and be happy during and after lessons. I have taught a total of 10 kids over the years from ages ranging from 3-12! But I am open to teaching all ages. I love teaching children to swim because it is rewarding, fun, and I get to be in the pool! I have been teaching for 4 years now, the last two summers I taught a young boy with cerebral palsy how to swim and by the end of only 8 sessions he could get from one side of the pool to the other. His mother was ecstatic and so was he, I hope to meet your children and help them learn to swim in a fun and motivating environment.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I recommend that students get swim lessons 3-5 times a week for 2-3 weeks depending on how many lessons you want. Consistency is very effective when teaching kids how to swim. Swim lessons are more effective when the parents aren’t watching because it is a distraction. I highly recommend not staying and watching for at least the first 2 lessons so the student can get comfortable with me. If you are concerned about safety you may stay and watch.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am CPR certified for safety reasons. I have been playing water polo for 7 years so I am an advanced swimmer, I know the proper techniques and methods for teaching kids how to swim. I am currently on San Diego States collegiate women’s water polo team.
