FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I pride myself in creating beautiful natural looking portraits. All of my finished work is retouched, not just edited(color, contrast, etc). Finished portraits are mounted and protected(no glass required).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I think it's important to have a pre-photo consultation, many times it can be done by phone, but if you're planning something special, I'm happy to meet with you in person for a planning session. Once plans are discussed, we'll schedule a portrait session. Most sessions last between 1 and 2 hours depending on what it is you're after. 1-2 weeks later, we will make selections and place your order. Orders typically take 3-4 weeks to finalize.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As I mentioned before, I had the opportunity to train with 3 master photographers(Ed Matuska/Samuels Studio/5 years, Don Blair/Don Blair Photography in Salt Lake City/1 year, Dave Newman/Dave Newman Photography in Salt Lake City/13 years). Each of these photographers were ranked at the top of the portrait photographers in the USA.
