- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Missing out on important moments I should have hired a professional for. We've always have had a love for photography. Our daughter who we can't stop taking pictures of. We have been blessed and want others to have the same opportunities we have.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We did a wedding for a couple we booked through Thumbtack. It was such a joy getting to know them and their kids. We got to shoot at a beautiful church at St. Joseph's Villa and ended up at Maggianos. It was roughly a 6 hour shoot and we took about a week and a half to edit the photos for them. We quoted them two weeks. We delivered the photos to them and since we became such good friends we watched them together. It was amazing to experience them with their family.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview your photographer and have some ideas of what you want. We can guide you. If you don't connect over the phone or in person you won't connect during your shoot. Don't be afraid to give constructive criticism.
