- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary on size of dog, breed, and coat type, as well as what you are having done. I offer reward cards after 5 grooming sessions you receive a free bath.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start every encounter with a phone conversation, here we can talk about your spacific needs and schedule an appointment and you can bring your pet to me or I can come to you. I do not have a mobile van.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went through Penn Foster to get the training to groom animals. I feel you need more the schooling to be a good groomer you need to understand animals and people and the bond between them. I know that bond I grew up with animals my whole life and have always had a great respect for them. There is a lot more to being a groomer then simply batheing or cutting hair. I can share my knowledge about wich brushes to use with what coats, dealing with fleas and tick, what shampoos are toxic to cats, and so on.
