FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very consistent. Right now, I charge $25 per lesson for half-hour lessons. Lessons are once per week, and payment for the full month is received at the first lesson of the month. If you have desire to have a longer lesson or lessons more than once a week, I would be happy to accommodate!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Process for beginning lessons is simple and easy! For the first few lessons, I do not ask for the entire month up front. There is a grace period until the following month begins. I want to give you time to make sure that you enjoy the lessons! After, that we begin payments for the full month at the beginning of each month. I am also as flexible as I can be with time slots. I want this to work for you! If a time slot becomes unavailable or inconvenient, it can be shifted to another weekly time. I try to make myself easily available and accessible by phone or email if any questions should arise. Lastly, I like to take time, especially at the first lesson meeting, to get to know you! Getting to know about you and telling you about myself is important. It helps me be a better teacher, it helps you be more comfortable and therefore have a better learning experience!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a musician of almost 18 years. I have been playing drums since I was 10, and guitar since I was 16. I have also received training in piano and vocals. From 2000 through 2010, I received private lessons from various teachers for each of my instruments respectively. I have also received formal training in music theory while attending Riverside Community College from 2008 to 2011. In addition to my formal education, I have also had much experience in music performance. From 2000 to present day, I have contributed to bands varying in musical style and complexity. Musical genres I've played have ranged greatly: Rock, Funk, Alternative, Country, R&B, Rap, Hard-core, Blues, Surf, (and the list goes on). I have played at venues such as Del Mar Fair Grounds, House of Blues in Anaheim CA, The Redlands Bowl in Redlands CA, and The Cave in Big Bear CA. I currently work as a music director at a small church in Norco, CA called Renaissance Christian Church. Here I administrate, train new musicians, orchestrate songs, arrange music, and perform on a regular basis.
