FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my pricing off of the measurements and materials to complete the job. Rarely would I base a price off of the time I spend on a job unless for an example I was replacing rotten floor joist in a basement holding up the 1st floor wich would take me a longer time to complete considering the materials were not much of an expense. Whereas something like siding gos right up so I would charge by the square. You
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to visit the home/jobsite and meet the customer to give the most accurate estimate. Any quote over the website would be as close as possible without physically seeing the job. What I charge will be fair and weather less or more than another quote, please keep in mind that as tempting it is to lean towards the cheapest price, in this field of work craftsmanship, skills, and the pride that one possesses for every single job professionally completed is worth paying for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I only graduated high school, but have always carried at least a part time job since I was 13. Not until 1999 did I have any experience in construction when I took a job as a full time contractors helper. Starting out as a teenager helping a contractor who had knowledge in all areas. Picking up on things at a fast pace I quickly realized that this was the career I wanted to pursue and I pushed myself to gain all the knowledge I could. The next job was never the same and I was fascinated with the outcome of every job. I thoroughly enjoyed performing flawless works and remodels in people's homes and seeing how happy they all were, job after job. I stepped up and picked up all the skills I needed to obtain to possess the confidence It would take for me to feel comfortable taking on my own jobs and completing them start to finish always striving to satisfy every homeowner. I strive for perfection with every job I do in every home I set foot just as I do my own because I am a firm believer in doing a job right the first time. There's no better experience than hands on!
