Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I love dogs. I got into training dogs 6 yrs ago. My pit bull mix Lilly is a certified therapy dog and service dog. Dogs don't care about money. They care about praise … and food. Positive reinforcement training uses praise and/or treats to reward your dog for doing something you want him to do. Because the reward makes him more likely to repeat the behavior, positive reinforcement is one of your most powerful tools for shaping or changing your dog's behavior. I love dogs and I love well behaved dogs. I truly enjoy helping people help their dogs become well behaved dogs.

Donna is excellent with animals. My dog absolutely loves her. She would come walk Dutchess everyday while I was at work so that she wasn't stuck in a crate. She also trained Dutchess to listen to commands. Which I was having a hard time doing because my dog is very stubborn and hard headed. Donna also nursed 2 of Dutchess' puppies back to health. One of which she raised from the moment he was 12 months old. Bottle feeding him and helping him to use the bathroom. Donna also helped me administer medicine to Dutchess when she had an ear infection as well as her shots. I would highly recommend her to anyone to help care for their animal.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With a new client I like to come meet the dog and the family to do an evaluation. Then we will discuss what is the right type of training for the dog.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started because a good friend of mine was a dog trainer.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't give up on your dog. if a trainer gives up and says your dog is untrainable. that just means you have not found the right trainer.
