- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I definitely take into consideration what the persons budget is for spending on photos. I make sure my prices are very reasonable so that way they can get pictures they love for a affordable price!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I start by talking with the customer on the phone or in person to talk about the kind of photos they want. I then show them my work and we schedule the time and date of the pictures. I also have a contract that I have the customer sign and send a deposit in.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a child my dad had a very old camera and he gave it to me because he knew I loved taking photos with it. Once I got older I saved up to buy a nice camera and took pictures all the time. I did it for a hobby at first and then some of my friends and family members said how much they loved my photos so I decided I would try and make it into my own business. Like I've stated before, photography is such a fun enjoyment for me so I charge very reasonably! I do this so people can get great photos without having to spend a fortune! These photos are something you will be able to look back on and cherish.
